Engine dies, alarm sounds while driving
Help! The engine dies and alarm sounds while driving down the road. Happens most often after a stop. Many times with a hard right turn. Have to take the key out of the ignition and turn alarm off with door key, then restart. Anyone have any ideas?

Bad alternator causing a drained battery? Try to get the car to a alternator/battery specialty shop. Most will diagnose for free.

Sounds like a bad ground, causing the car to shut off. Check you battery connections first, then the strap/connection to the alternator. If those are OK, then it maybe your ignition switch.

I have had the same thing and i had a bad short. This would be my guess for sure. Check any wiring you have added for changed, especially those that might wear on moving objects.

Yes, it sucks. Quits while driving. UGLY. My daughter had it happen going thru a light... Battery is almost new (6 months, Interstate). Don't think it was temp, as it was 28 out and just started (it was COLD in South Texas this week). Tried driving it with a key in the door (so I could shut the alarm off quickly and restart if it happened again), and it doesn't quit now... So that could be it or it could be an intermittant problem. Thanks for all of the replies!
