05 1.8t GTI Makin a funny noise. First video is just the engine noise, the second video is the additional noise that shows up when I turn the AC on. I can make it go away by pressing down the clutch. Idk. No check engine light, rough idle or anything like that. Can anyone help me out?

maybeee a loose a/c fan? honestly cant hear anything out of the ordinary, unless youre talking about the high pitch noise

Sounds like a ticking noise coming from the engine.

That ticking sounds like the fuel injection, all 1.8t's do that at idle.

I'm guna bump this, the engine doesn't sound off to anyone? I tried to find stock engine sound on youtube but nothing, I just can't accept that's how it's supposed to sound just sounds wrong to me!

i got the same thing going on right now too, it quits around 1100 rpm's and comes back at idle..
