I have a 2001 Jetta4 2.0 8V and I need more power. Is it easy to swap may engine for a 1.8T? I need some tips....

its not that tough if you can do it cheap enough. Usually its cheaper to sell the 8v and buy a new or used 1.8t. You could most likely turbocharge the 2.0 for around the same cost. While people do it all the time with mkii's and mkiii's it is just not economically advantageous at the point in the mkiv's life span.
