I have 08 passat with the 2.0T fsi , 6spd manual. I am looking into doing a swap for the most reliable powerful 2.0T tsi motor. Which 2.0T can i get? Is it this EA888 gen3 for vw,s or is there a audi 2.0T tsi motor better than vw?

For the money, you're probably best with a built MQB crate motor from APR; not sure if they're available anymore though.I have 08 passat with the 2.0T fsi , 6spd manual. The EA888 Gen3 has many improvements the Gen1 doesn't, most notably being the turbo; the IS20 is capable of holding more power than even the K04 (337hp/371tq vs 323/335 on APR Stage 2 93 tune).
Are you doing this for reliability or performance?
