All - anybody know why my engine won't start with the DPR test harness plugged in on a stock 16V CIS-E setup? I bought the harness from TT so it's the correct one, not homemade. When I pull it back off and reconnect the wire connector to the DPR it starts right up. Just trying to set my mixture, thanks,

did you measure continuity or resistance across the wires of the adapter harness?
maybe there is a break inside. simply put a defective part from the box brand new?

Thanks, 134hpvw. I will try that. I also found something on the web saying you have to have the multimeter hooked up to the test harness before starting the engine. I guess it somehow completes a circuit. I did not know that...I'll try it shortly,

Yeah, that would definitely keep it from starting.
No meter (properly connected, and set to mA DC) connected to the test harness = open circuit. The DPR is effectively unplugged.

Ok, starts up and runs normal with the meter connected. Amp readings all over the place though, and seems temperature dependent. Back to the trial and error method I guess,
