Hey guys, I'm new to the Vortex, and I like to say that there is a lot of good info in here.
I have been around, over, under and in VWs for longer than I have been driving and I have had my license since 1983, so it's about time I join Vortex.
My question is :
Does anybody know of either good used euro bumpers or reasonably priced new ones in the SE area? I just can't see paying $700 + from Rapid...
I'm willing to even go with aftermarket bumpers like the ones from Seidl or something similar that's not going to break the wallet.
I'm in Hollywood, FL.

Welcome to the fray. While you're at it, go to scirocco.org and join the Scirocco mailing list - about 400 owners worldwide and a TON of good info there.
Check Ebay frequently for used euro bumpers, they turn up there quite frequently. Or for new ones (or any other Scirocco needs) your man is Mike Potter at Virtual World (www.parts4vws.com). I think his price for new ones is about $600. He also stocks new euro headlights and tons of other juicy stuff.. and he's a rocco man himself.
