00BoraVR6.......
Here
s a very good link to TDIclub, where one of the guys converted it. He has done some very detailed describtion on how to do it. I think if this can't help you, then no one can help you through the Net. The story is long, it will take you some time to read, but read everything and I am sure you can figure it out. If you still have problems, feel free to post your question there and I am sure the guys will help you..... Here is the link and good luck!

when you say installing it do you mean programming your mileage or matching your keys to the new cluster?. each cluster has it's own SCK (secret key code) which is based on the cluster serial. it begins with IMZV..... if you put the wrong SCK in too many times it will lock you out in increasing time intervals. the login code to program the mileage is different, i used the directions that were in the bentely cd.

Re: euro cluster PLEASE HELP ME GUYS!!!! (salty peaks)

There are full instructions in the Bentley manual on the proceedure for swapping clusters. Part of the problem is that they will be trying to use your exisiting engine code which will not work... There is no provision for a VR6 native in the cluster so you have to use the default code instead.
My engine code is 07232 (They call it an engine code but it is under the instrument cluster functions, the ECU engine code is different but you don't need to change that)
07 = Brake Ware sensor + Wiper Fuid Warning + Seat belt Warning
2= US Country Code
3= Engine ID (This is not listed in any Manual, I had to use trial and error)
2= K Number (I knew this by looking at my original code before the upgrade)
That should work for you and get it up and running. After that they will need to do your milage but the process is the same so they better get that right!
Hope this helps,
