the switch should let you do that. there are three main positions, plus fog lights.
first position is off/dtrl, second is parking/city lights, third is low beams on. pulling out on either the second or third position turns on the fogs.
the switch also comes with a jumper, that lets you turn on your highs and lows at the same time.

well my fogs dont come on with my parking lights on...the little green light that lights up when you turn on your fogs doesn't even turn on. what do you think the problem is?

sounds like the switch itself is busted, but im really not that sure...

mine didn't come with a jumper set!? i bought the switch from someone on the tex. what is the jumper and what does it look like and where can i get one? thanks!

It's a bent piece of metal that fits into two slots in your relay panel. Call Potterman, they can probably help you.

i thought the jumper only lets the highs and lows go on at the same time?

There is a separate jumper that allows you to run fogs without headlights, and also another that allows highs and lows at the same time.
If you wish to disable DRLs, you must disconnect a cable behind relay 173...follow the back of it, and you'll find a yellow plug.

Well Mike at Potters said that it is the same jumper. You should call him and make sure your self. He told me that "other"jumper is added.....youll fry your system. That jumper is supposed to do both.
But hey....that's all I did and they are doing exactly what he said they would.

when u pull out 173 it looks like this

i forget what does what but if u connect 3/4 and 2/6 u get fogs/high/low.
