Re: Euro VR6 Chin on a North American Bumper (Lyzic)

nice, thanks a lot guys

What about the splash guards? Does replacing them place a big significance on the whole installation process?

Re: Euro VR6 Chin on a North American Bumper (Lyzic)

Thanks for the quick relpy guys!
In my attempts to fit the chin early last year, I have aleady cut away the corner piece. I haven't tried clipping the 3/4" off the bumper yet. If it still doesn't fit correctly, I will try and clip away the edges of the 5 tabs on the end (like he said is not nessesary).
Thanks Again,
Craig

The splash guards are pretty basic to install, nothing compared to getting the chin to fit. I assume you are talking about the Euro splash guards, as the NA ones will fit, but not very well. Since the Euro kit was so expensive, i never ended up getting it. When summer rolls around I'll just rivet and epoxy some extensions to the NA one on, for $5 rather than $100+ or whatever Potterman sells them for.
But they are just held on by some screws and a couple tabs. Get under your car with a screwdriver and it'll take you seriously minutes to replace them all.
