yes you are correct, and except it has some of the options a real european switch does... that doesnt mean that this switch is from a vw in europe, it could be from anywhere, the fact of the matter is it does not have rear fogs, THAT IS A REAL EUROPEAN SWITCH!

Re: Euroswitch on Ebay (V a V jetta W 3 6)

good lord some of you guys are clueless....
some of the euro switches have only one fog position. Just because it doesn't have 2 fog positions it doesn't mean it's not a euro switch....and it's not from "anywhere". That switch is from a right hand drive car, and there aren't that many places in the world that are RHD.

BTW, right hand drive switches DO NOT FIT in our LHD cars. Whoever buys it is going to be in for a surprise.
this is a switch from Germany....only one fog position.

bro, my point is, the reason we buy these switches is to have the parking light position, rear fogs, no DRL, and front fogs. Yes, that is a european switch like i said before, but why would we want to buy a european switch with no rear fogs!? you might aswell just go buy the 94/95 US spec "parking light and front fog" position correct?

Re: Euroswitch on Ebay (V a V jetta W 3 6)

He's right.
That is NO Euroswitch that most of us want. The housing in the rear is reversed. Sucka bait for Euro-fools.
Anyway the plus to a standard front/rear left driver's side mounted Euroswitch is the front and rear options.
The real Euroswitch (fits a US car left side) would go for about $50 used. NIW - $75.
I just bought one and installing the rear fog light option too.
Don't be someone's weotch!
