call me an idot but i can't seem to get the stock headlight switch out of my mkIV? dashboard end cap, dimmer and vent are pulled off. i can't seem to access the two springs loaded tabs to depress on the switch housing. what am I missing? please help, just want the euroswitch in. thanks

just push the switch in, twist, then pull...thats how i did mine

Yeah, push the knob in, turn clockwise (the whole assembly will rotate) and then pull it straight out.
