Euroswitch Question

I plan on upgrading my Tail Lights to have 4 lights for added safety. I have done this in my Corrado as well and assume it's just as easy.
My question is, If I get the Euroswitch Can I wire the rear fog as well? I could not find any instructions for hooking up the rear fog. Are the cars pre-wired? I assume they are b/c VW would not make a seperate wiring loom just for the US.
Any help for doing either of these is appreciated.

Yes if you get the euru switch you can have rear fog light.
No our cars are not pre-wired for the rear fog light
I followed the instructions on this web site and it helped me. The install time is about 3 hours. good luck...check it out:

I beleive he was asking if you can have the 5-light brake mod AND have the rear fogs...or maybe I misunderstood it myself..heh

Yes this is what i would like to know. [HR][/HR]

The bulbs for the extra breaklights go where the rear fogs would normally go, so no, you can't run them both at the same time. Now legally you are only supposed to have one rear fog installed in the US, so you 'could' go with a "four breaklight - one rear fog config" if you wanted to. Probably look really bad though!

First you say I can't do it and then you say i can. I'd like to have the rear fog on the left but when I am not using it or even when i am i wold like both sides to come on as brake lights. I don't think it will look bad!

If you want to have the the rear fog turn on with the euro switch and also have the them light up when you press the brake switch. this is what you have to do:
1. get a bosch 12v relay
2. 16AWG wire
3. connctors
and follow this wiring diagram, don't worry it will work!I have 10 years of electronics experience

Ummmmm, what?

You originally said you wanted to do a '5' brakelight config with the rear foglights installed and I told you 'no'. I then told you that in theory, you 'could' do a '4' (not five!) breaklight config with one socket running a rear fog, and the other running an extra breaklight. And yes, I 'do' think that would look kinda' bad. But look at Quicksilver337's response, it looks as if he has a work-around to do this correctly, the way you want it done...
