I'm putting a 9A in my GTI. (2 liter 16 valve for those of you that don't know)
I know it can be done with the stock CIS-Lambda, but requires a bit of tweaking. A guy on here, 16V Hare, posted on the 16v swap thread about 4 years ago, saying he knew how to do it, but I couldn't find anything posted by him in the search. Anybody know what you need to do to get it running correctly?
AND, is it possible to convert a CIS-E fuel dizzy to run with a frequency valve instead of the DPR?
thanks

what do you have to adjust the mixture to?

I don't remember off the top of my head. But, CIS-Lambda equipped cars havve a port in the engine wire-harness to hook up a dwell meter for setting the mixture properly. The Bentley is your buddy. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
