not to mention the cold, damn.
yeah, lots of the people who i see killing others on posts have like 27 posts. like for instance i asked a guy if he could not write in all capital letters because its hard to read. reasonable, right? he and a bunch of his newbie buddies came at me saying i was a "crybaby". when i read this, i thought of how anal a person must be to sit at there computer and yell at people he will never see. oh yeah, after all this i looked at the three of their post counts, and the combined total didn't break a hundred.

yah i saw that thats a joke...people are getting out of control.....when i got here i saw this poor guy that had like 50 threads on him, just ripping his car apart...what was the deal anyways

what happened him to be ripped apart....i think it maybe the holiday season, thats causing this mayhem...hope it stops

nah, but, ive noticed that too. It can be hard to learn stuff when no one is willing to talk about the "simple" problems that we ALL have to learn about somewhere.
Oh, and how was that GTG? i wish i could have made it... *sigh*

Yeah, but this isn't a case of I don't like the guy, or I had any problem with him. I accept that all dubbers are different, like I am totally not into the euro VW thing myself, but I accept them cause it's a different and nice style, it's just not for me. Those threads need to stop, I am just tired of people throwing hissy fits around here and I wanted to lay some examples to what kinda junk goes on in the VW world around here. It's nonsense.

Illegal???? Fine, how bout underage drinking, smoking Pot, gambling, underage sex, doing a Roll STop at a stop sign. If you think about it, we all do something illegal in our life. And don't tell me its not the same thing. How bout on the GTGs and Drives to Leavenworth, Who else here was Driving at 100MPH racing up and down the pass???? I know it was not just me, so I guess you are singling them out too, We are all giving Dubbers a bad name??????????????, I'm not trying to be a jerk, just think about that and I hope it gives you some perspective.
And yes, car will smoke me right now. He has a VR6, I have a 2.0L, that is not what his immaturiy is about. Our group of people doesn't want him around, he tags along, then when we tell him (nicely) he needs to race or leave he throws a temper tantrum, talks badly about us behind our backs, then has the stupidity to come on VWVortex, and use the Instant Message Feature and a Fake Name to insult a fellow Dubber. This is about the fact that he is so immature that he had to take his business from the street and bring it onto a Internet Source. If this kid had a problem, he needed to walk up to us and talk like a grownup to our faces. This is what I mean by giving Dubbers a bad name.

I don't understand. If you don't have a problem with the guy, and you accept everyone, then why exactly are you posting a dispute between the two of you in a "public" forum? As for an example of what is going on in the VW scene, I am still a little confused since this is a single incident which does not necessarily represent the VW scene here in the PNW.
It seems as if you have a problem with people's taste, or opinions, regarding car style. If you like your car and do not feel the need to justify it in any way, then there really isn't a need to prove its worthiness to others. If they hate your car, then they are entitled to their opinion. If you complain about people not accepting your style, they will just view you as a target. If you are the one posting the complaints about other people in this forum, then you are the one throwing the "hissy fit."
