It seems like every mk4 I see is silver! There are so many silver mk4s out there its crazy! Is it like that where you live?

well i am the only MKIV silver Jolf in the states if that says anything.. Well atleast i think i am.. But here in state college i am one of 3 or 4 silver golf's (GTI's) but there are way more black GTI's.. but for jetta.. silver is numero uno..

I'm saving for a new car, but I'm gonna stick to a classic color like RED or BLACK so it'll always look good.

TONS of silver over here, in every model car. Personally I think it's a fad color, meaning that by the time your finance loan is up your color will be out of style. I'm saving for a new car, but I'm gonna stick to a classic color like RED or BLACK so it'll always look good.

I see a few rave green Golfs around, but nowhere near as many as I see silver ones. That's why it's extra special to me to see a rave green Golf on the road. Saw one tonight and tried to give a nod, but the lady driving it was so focused on the highway I thought her head would explode!

It's a nice color and all, but when I saw statistics (on the top ten list at cars.com) that said silver was the most popular car color, of all cars bought in the US, I knew I would never own a silver car. granted silver looks great on all cars, but the MKIV does look very clean with this color. i just wish black was as easy to maintain to keep clean. i do recall this same thread not too long ago. some guy being funny by making a joke saying that silver is the only color made. yeah.......go vortex.

yo cadi.. after the christmas break 2 kids bought black GTI's here in my apt complex.. both stock and i havent talked them, but that new shiney black looks dope.. I guess the silver to black ratio is about equal..

dammit.....i've just about had my car for two years up here. when i first got it, no one had one here, then they started trickling into town. you'll know mine the second you here me coming, it sounds unbelievable. what engines do these new guys have......any idea??

where I live, the place is almost swarming with veedubs now... Almost as much as Hondas. Mostly they are Silver, I have a Mk3 Silver Jetta though, but then got a Mk4 Rave Green GTI just to get out of the Silver group. hehe.
