You're my new favourite poster :D

Yeah the XJ220 was insanely expensive and it was originally supposed to have a V12... A bunch of people backed out of their orders when Jaguar decided to go with a twin turbo V6, but they replaced their orders, when they found out how quick it was. It did 0-100 in 7.8 seconds, which was 1.1 seconds quicker than a Bugatti EB110, which had a quad turbo V12!

That's incredible, but I figure the all wheel drive Bugatti was considerably heavier.

EB110: 3,452 lbs

So the difference in weight wasn't that extreme...

strange comparison considering how old the F40 is, but the Noble is my second favorite
That was the point... Comparing the old twin turbo super cars with contemporary ones...

I can't believe the Veyron is ~650 pounds (Veyron: 4,162lbs; Veyron SS: 4,062lbs) heavier than the relatively ancient EB110... You'd think they'd have been able to at least match the weight if nothing else.
The Veyron is far better built and engineered vs the EB110..
There are so many structural reinforcements on the Veyron, which make the EB110 seem like it was made out of paper...
