Exhaust (Just curious)

Is it possible to make our little cars sound like bike/ferrari. Is it possible to add some kind of exhaust that would simulate this distinctive sound.
I guess everything can be done with enough time and money but I am just curious if anyone has any experience in this.

You can make a 1.8l 4 cyclinder sound like a high revving v8....

Just curious...bikes don't have 8cil ( some actually 4)and their sound is kinda what I am looking for. I am not talking about performance just a sound. You can make geo metro with a hole in the exhaust

sound like a V8 mustang so Everything is possible

My point was it's the engine NOT the exhaust that makes the noise. Bikes rev to 10k+ RPMs. The redline on my Suzuki GSXR 750 is 14k...

Hey that's cool my roomate has the same bike. it's a sweet bike. I only wish for the sound on my little GTI. Oh well I guess I am satisfied with that whining sound from my turbo.

you can make custom rear muffler that will sound like you want.

Not really. A small displacement 4 cylinder will always sound like just that. It can still sound good but never like a sport bike or a V8. The size of the piston and the speed it travels have a lot to do woth the sound...
