Hello all.
I just picked up a MKII Golf that is in desperate need of a new muffler and tips. I am leaning towards one of TM Tuning's Stainless units with a single 70x140mm tip. They want $300.00 for it. does anyone have any other suggestions?
TIA

I have this exhaust currently on the car. Sounds good, but I am getting ready to swap it out due to the first signs fatigue since it's aluminized. Gonna go TT catback w/ a bolra when I get the funds!

i have a cheap-arse pacesetter, i believe that's what it's called, exhaust. the PO had it, and it sounds really good for the price. it was like $150 or something? i forget exactly, but it was dirt cheap for a cat-back system. the only thing is, i could like it to be a little louder, but i'm going to swap out my cat for a hollowed out one, which should help. somebody posted on here a while ago about comments on it, maybe search for it

I recommend that you go with a full system instead of just a muffler. Go check out the Techtonics tuning website http://www.techtonicstuning.com . They have cat back systems that fit very well with 3 different muffler choices.

My thoughts exactly http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Thanks for the input folks... Even SS with the Borla is reasonable considering I was going to re do the tubing from the cat back anyway, and I know borla stands behind their products (had one of their exhausts on a truck a while ago).
Thanks again
