Experts - VW door hinge tool question

No one can seem to answer this -
what tool do dealerships use to remove the two bolts that hold on the upper door hinge? It's the hinge that also hold the mirror on.
It's too tight a space for a standard 12-point star tool (???)
thanks for any ideas.
I went to my dealership and they said they'd never taken one off
