The antenna wire ends under the shift boot, then theres a extension to the radio. I replaced the extension and no dice.
On lunch break, I checked how to check get to it and the rear hatch seal kinda clamps the headliner to the body. I have a new fuba at my house, but it has a motorola type end instead of the old school style. Don't know what mine has, anybody? Motorola ->old school tyle adapter? But if mine is a motorola style I'm just going to replace it and make sure the base has a good ground.
Oh yea some very unusefull FYI, the spirals on the newer fuba masts are olny to rid of wind noise nothing else. Like I could hear wind noise over my car
