I've seen that this is a common question in this forum, so I did a little research and found this at http://www.autobl.com/Html/passat/passat.htm
Also they have fender side markers in diferent colors for B3's.

We used the same two stage switches for fog lights here. Trust me, I picked one up at the junkyard. $3

First click turns on front fogs, second does the rear (with fronts still on).
