or if you get desparate, a friend of mine has a roller and hairdryer... personally, I did mine with a hammer.

Came out just fine if you don't have too discerning of an eye. (granted it wasn't my GTi... it was my 240)
Worst comes to worst, buy my friend lunch and give 'im maybe some cash (after all, it does cost... what... over $100? to get your fenders rolled at a shop!) and you'll have your fenders rolled! He's in OC. Let me know if you're interested.
