So ya finally got them huh? Did they honor the price?? I went with FK Stage II's -- needed something with stiffer spring rates than the PSS system

yeah they did...i think that it has been well over a month now since i placed my original order. what a pain in a**....but to save 250 on these things...i can't complain.
i told a couple of the other guys to call the shop and they were quoted the higher price. i don't know what happened.
I heard the FK's a really nice. good luck with them. i am psyched to get these on this weekend.
quick question....when you had your coilovers installed...did you have to replace any bushings/bearings. thanks for the heads up.

wait a couple of weeks, they're on back order for the wrenches. you don't need any bushings,bearings,etc. unless your stock stuff is clapped out. my car was fine, and i'm at 83k. look in the instruction manual and check for the measurement they give you for lowest height. it's hard to find since most of it's in German, but it the part that says measurement #'s of 220-2something. that measurement is done from the top bolt of the 2 bolts on the bottom of the front shock up to the bottom of your main spring. do this on all four and it will save you time on setting up your cars height. if you go lower than they recommend, the spring isn't under enough preload and the car likes to bounce.

ALWAYS replace 4 cyl. strut bearings with VR6 strut bearings! I don't care if you have 25K on your stock strut bearings, the coilovers WILL put slightly more load on the bearings and you don't want to replace them later when you'll have it all apart now, do you?

I have told a couple of other guys on here about the deal. They have called, but have been quoted the 899 "Special". I think someone should try and put together a group buy through this shop. I am not sure why this price is not honored for more people.

EuroTire is full of crap then.
On you first post [asking if it was a good deal for $650] I found the shop on the Bilstein site and called the next day. They told me that they were out and they had no idea when they would get anymore in. I kept calling and calling, only getting the same answer. I don't care anymore. If they don't want my money that's fine. I'm just getting the Weitec XT's through a GB for about $40 more.
That's cool that you got them though. Hope they work well for you.

...just figured out that you don't have a VR6. Maybe that's why they kept telling me that they did'nt have any...
