so i finally got my 2002 1.8t gti after waiting 3 months. The cars beutiful, i got it with the 17's
anyways.........the review
shifter- Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, yes longer than rsx etc but smoother too, it feels VERY smooth, as does the clutch altough the release point isnt very precise.
interior- NICE! monsoon, yes it isnt THAT impresive, i've got the double din, yea its alright, had the car for 2 days and the bass nob already broke off
suspension- Yea the car sits too high off the ground to be a legitimate handler, but the suspension feels good, smooth and stiff at the same time, the body role is evident but definitly overexagerated by vortexers, for how high the car sits of the ground, the body role isnt that bad.
engine - NICE, not broken in yet, but very smooth for a 4 cylinder, and gotta love the pull from the turbo, but it comes at a price, especially with the all seasons, ALOT of wheel spin, especially w/out the limited slip in the corners.
OVERALL- WICKED car, plain and simple, feels very solid. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Finally (duduvr6)

Word on the street is the double din isn't all it was supposed to be. You might want to think about dumping it.
