Serving double duty as both a cultural icon and a reliable mode of transportation, the Volkswagen Bus has seen its share of modification trends since its introduction in 1950.  The latest trend sees many examples being rest-modded, with their bodies remaining stock aside from a color change, and completely reworked mechanicals.  Today's Find of the Day embodies that trend and executes it on a level that is rarely seen.

Built by Rocky Mountain Aircooled in Loveland, Colorado, this Bus received a full rotisserie restoration and what looks like incredible attention to detail.  Perhaps the most noticeable part of the restoration is the respray in Audi Glut Orange with a Cream colored top, and its lowered stance.  We think it looks quite good, too.  The Bus has a rebuilt 2054cc motor and a rebuilt transmission as well, meaning that it will likely go nearly as good as it looks.

The interior has received the same amount of attention, with all new seat covers, belts, floor mats and a Retro in-dash radio with iPhone and iPod capabilities.  Although the ad lacks some of the detail pictures we would have liked to see, we are confident that it looks the part, and sure that those images would be available upon request.

Interested parties should act quick, because a sale is currently pending.  The Bus is located in Miami, Florida, and is available at $54,900
