We all know that the GTI’s tartan seats looks great, but did you know that plaid is a great pattern for any Golf? Hm? Well, now you do, because this Caddy on air ride suspension not only looks great, it’s our find of the day.

That means that you, too, could benefit from all the best right angles of the ‘70s (inside and out).

Despite starting out as, it seems, a Canadian gas-powered car, the plaid Caddy now runs a rebuilt 1.6-liter diesel engine paired to a turbo allegedly making 8 lbs of boost. Running through a 5-speed manual with TT short shift kit, the plaid Caddy should feel pretty spritely.
