Question for you guys with Chris Green 3" DP:
Are there any rubbing issues, rattles etc.? Would it fit directly with stock exhaust or aftermarket CB systems?

I installed USP 3"DP with no rubbing issues. I did however have problems during hard acceleration and shifting. I upgraded my Motor mount bushing from energy suspension for $16.00 and that cured that problem.

Under hard acceleration and shifting (RACING) the engine would rock back from the torque, causing the DP to smack the heatshield/ crossmember. The stiffer bushings keeps the engine from rocking back. No more wheel hop, better shifting and definetly no more banging from the DP.

I can't comment on install cuz I had Midas do it... but there was some rubbing and hitting... but ONLY when shifting very hard, as One.Eight said. It seems like it has gone away though. I don't think it ever does it anymore... go figure. I bought the energy suspension mounts and will be installing them tomorrow. More for wheel hop than for rubbing issues.

I dont get it, how can one company say that you dont need motor mount bushings when a 3" dp is a 3" dp no matter what company makes it.
Is FM styled differently or bent , and is it nothing like ATP's?
