I have a 03 GTI completely stock. Lately from time to time, I have a ground hum coming from the stereo system and all the illumination in the car are pulsing. If i turn off the car and restart it, the problem goes away and while later it come back again.

do u have any subs, amps, aftermarket cd player or speackers?

Get a grounding kit.
