I too am on the quest for a different exhaust , i dident wanna go wit hte normal techtonic or supersprint , i actually heard an 8v digi car with a flowmaster exhaust , it sounded pretty bad , very non vw. Now im looking into running dual resonators and a supertrapp.

..You hit the nail on the head for me. I was worried that it wouldn't sound like a VW anymore. I listed to some of thier mufflers on the web site, they have some nice sound clips, but I just couldn't imagine what it would sound like on my GTI. I have a TT and the el-cheapo "Turbo" muffler is shot, I can't stand the drone at highway speed anymore. I have a hookup to get Flowmaster cheap... so I was considering that instead of Borla, since they cost $150. But it looks like Borla is the only way to go.
