Re: Fog light bulbs (VR6 Mk3)

yes, they're H3 blubs.
I would be cautious in going with anything higher than the standard wattage (55w?)... anything higher and you run into the possibility of overheating the housing and cracking your lenses.

Re: Fog light bulbs (vr6willeatyou)

I just picked up a set of the nice PIAA yellow bulbs (H3, 55watt). I really like the way the yellow casts on the ground, it highlights objects on the road better than the standard bulbs IMHO....

Re: Fog light bulbs (JuiceJetta)

Just got back from Advanced Auto, they had 3 choices for H3s...I have yet to look at Pep Boys, etc...First choice was normal Hella 55W. They also had Hella 100w and Optilux 55W Xenon White "Made by Hella"
Has anyone used 100W bulbs in their fogs, or the Optilux bulbs...any positive or negative reults? Prices were close for all 3.

Re: Fog light bulbs (DUHSHET)

I just read in another post that quite a few people had problems with the 100W ones being too hot and burning out in a few weeks, or cracking the lens...anyone used the "Optilux" ones??
