Hopefully someone has done this. I didn't see a walkthrough, so here's my problem.
I accidently broke my passenger side latch for the folding seat on my 01 Jetta. Ironically, two months ago it had broke on its own, and I brought it back the stealership to fix. At that point, the whole damn thing wouldn't open, so I didn't have much of a choice. This time, I was folding down my seat to access my subwoolfer in the trunk, and the release they replaced it with requires that the key stay in. Well, I left the key in, and accidently folded the seat too far forwards and broke the lock out of the plastic.
Now, my questions are these. Does anyone have the part number for this? Does anyone know how to replace the release?
