For myself, I just stare at my car and make sure it's all nice and safe. Kids come up to me in schol and say, hey, nice car, hope I don't hit it. Nice huh? You guys have any Quick Security things you could dish out? Besides a huge barbwired fence all around the garage with anti-personel weapons waiting for any unknown persons? Thanks. All these cases of cars being broken into lately is making me paranoid.

Well since I am 6'3" and 300lbs kids around here don't even think of looking at my car the wrong way.

For theft I usually turn the steering wheel all the way to one side when I park, that way the car can't be towed without breaking the axles. At least that seems to make sense, so that's what I do.
I also put the club on inside out, that is, so the lock faces the gauges and not the interior of the car. It's annoying to put on, but you get used to it, and I figure that the lock on the club can't be busted this way (although the steering wheel can still be cut just fine).
Those two measures pretty much take care of the amateurs I guess, and more or less the pro's are unstoppable anyway. As for security inside the car, I have a baseball bat in the hatch and a knife on my belt.

I have a killswitch that is hidden even my a coworker who used to steal cars couldnt figure out where it was. I have nothing on the inside that is worth stealing.

put a camera in your car that shows all angles .... let those people or person mess up your car ... im sure you can use your common sense to do whats next

take em to court and milk their bank account dry

The paranoid feeling when your washing your car or modding it...is when some kids drive by in a rust bucket and stare your and her down...Not enjoyable to say the least. Especially since I'm new to the neighborhood and don't know anyone. =\ ...The police station is right next door. haha

As far as messing with my car I have an alarm with the basics you know starter kill, dual sesors hood/trunk protection and all that. If they can steal it they can have it.
For the goods in my car I try to leave everything in the trunk and disable the trunk pop in the center console storage, lock my back seats and if they can get through the seat locks they have to remove my neuspeed rear strut bar to get to my sounds. Id say the only way to get into the trunk is to somehow pop the rear trunk lock however you do that.
As for rims I have wheel locks and dropped my car enough so you cant fit a jack. I think its still doable if their that dedicated.
I installed a locking gas door and a locking gas cap and had a locksmith assign the tumblers to my ignition key so its harder to steal gas or dump crap in my tank.
I say the best way to steal my car is to get ahold of my keys and just take the thing.

I don't have to worry about anyone stealing my car. They see all 6'4" 225 lbs of me get out and kiss it goodbye they must think that I'm nuts and would rather not get involved
