They might very well fit, but you don't want to do that! The spring rates are different - Passats are much heavier than Corrado's and your car will bounce around too much with Passat springs... Definitely a no no

Actually, we're not a ton heavier than Corrados. Corrados are fat bastards, we're just fatter.

Corrado VR6 is 2800lbs.. that is not too heavy. Now Passat's 3100 is heavy.

Indeed, but compared to a Jetta or Golf of the same era the Passat and Corrado are both fat bastards. For it's size, the Corrado is a bit of a pig.

That should be alright, except I had H&R for B3 VR6 on my B4 and the rear of the car sat a little too low

Not that this means much, But I knew a gentleman who had 525lb springs in the front of his corrado, and 375lb springs in the rear for auto Xing. Both of these spring rates are much much higher than any "sport" spring for a passat. You can actually use quite a heavy spring if that is the desired ride you want...you just have to crank up the rebound dampening to compensate for the added spring rate so it doesn't rebound too quickly. 525, is quite a bit as far as spring rates go, but when you consider some fox body mustangs use 800+ spring rates and weigh only afew hundred pounds more, it's all understandable. I never knew passat and corrado springs were interchangeable though. Interesting...
