its olllld....1983 i think is the production date, and it does not turn on i think a capacitor or something is blown...any electrical guru can fix it...if you want it, e-mail me at [email protected] if you can pick it up tonight...otherwise its going in the trash at mid night.

If I'm not mistaken, you cannot just "throw" out TV's in the trash like any other garbage.
You may have to truck that to the local dump, and possibly pay to dispose of it.

nope
in region peel, you have to schedule an appointment to have it picked up. We called when we were renovating the washroom, and they took a bathtub for no charge

nope, i live in a condo, we have weekly pickups for stuff like that, we just leave that stuff in a room

Put it by the curb with a sign that says "Sony Trinitron $200 or best offer" , then go inside to grab a sandwich. By the time you come back outside it will be long gone.
