it kills the o-zone if its r12. Its a PITA the to spot leaks, even with a freon sniffer and/or dye-sealants.
If its a slow leak, you'd be suprised at how much cheaper it is to dump some sealant/oil in .. the shiznit works.
But otherwise it could be just about anywhere, and you whip out the sniffer, check o-rings, rip apart the dash, etc until you find it..

Any other health hazards besides the o-zone I shoudl worry about?

If you suck it in directly from the valve it will have the opposite effect of helium (makes your voice deep) and it gives you quite the buzz. BTW, yes, there are health hazards: damages brain cells (me prime example), risk of freezing lungs and possible blackout. These are known hazards, many others may be possible. Kids don't try this at home.

I removed the ac hoses this morning, and felt extremly stoned in my closed garage, i almost fell up the stairs. Lets just say it was a bad idea. I still feal a little tupider then usual

do you sometimes find yourself involuntarily driving around in circles or trying to climb out of the car while it's moving forward....well you might a have freon leak lol

don't worry about ozone it's far to high in the atmosphere for us to breathe in...even though it's deadly we need it to aid in the blocking of solar radiation (UV rays)...which is why in about 35 years , gasoline powered cars will be illegal, and H powered cars will be all the rage ...CO(C monoxide) + O3(ozone) ---> CO2(carbon dioxide) +O2 (1 mol O gas)....freon also breaks the ozone bonds
