i just installed the rear 28mm rear sway bar today, it is amazing!
but i found out a problem to my car is while i am having sharp cornering, the front tires sound like they r rubbering to the ground, i don't know how to describe it here. but it is not feel like going smooth........i am wondering if it is the problem of the front axis and the clearance thing, ? may be?......cause i have H&R race springs dropped...........anyone know about it? and how come the aftermarket front sway bar can solve the clearance problem?

Re: front axis? clearance? problem (Deception)

is it really the front sway bar?.........i am wondering too......but why i need the aftermarket one?.....how will it help me to fix the problem? i mean how come the aftermarket sway bar can solve the clearance problem......by the way, i didn't get what is the clearance problem with the axis, i am guessing my problem is due to the clearance problem cause i always heard that have to change an aftermarket front sway bar since the car lowered more than 2 inch...
but why?

Re: front axis? clearance? problem (MK4)

if your tire is rubbing on the INDSIDE of the wheel, towards the strut assembly. Take a close look. I bet whoever lowered your car left out the front bumpstops. if so, get new ones from the dealer, the should be about $25/pair.
They are crucial to accurate suspension movement in your car. Without them you might/could have damaged your front shocks.
Take a look soon.
