Does anyone know the size of the bolts used to put the front end in service position? I need to replace my valve cover gasket. Removing the intake manifold requires this .

Thanks!

For the lock-carrier swing:

- Remove front blinkers, and open 10mm bolts under the blinkers.
- Remove 3 torx screws inside the fender, right in front of front wheel
- Remove 2 screws and the rubber dampers on top of the lockcarrier
- Remove 3 torx screws just in front of the hood locker
- Remove all bolts from the belly pan (i dont have it, cant recall how it was attached)
- Remove the hoodlockers openign latch (the plastic T that slides out)

Slide the bumper cover off

- Remove the actual metallic bumper
- remove the plastic thingies under the headlights. 1x 10mm and 2x torx.
- unbolt the lockcarrier-fender connecting peace of metal (under those plastic thingies) 10mm bolt
- unbolt the torx on top of the fenders, that hold the lockcarrier.
- Unbolt the hood lock (3x 10mm) and remove the opening wire
- Drain the coolant system. Remove the upper water hose from the engine, and the lower water hose from engine.
- remove the powerstearing oilcooler + outside temp sensor
- Remove the plastic cover from the powerstearing fluid reservoir -> Check wires that goes to lockcarrier and open them.
- Remove the gray 3pin connector from the radiator.
- Remove drivers side light wires
- Now unbolt the 7 torx that holds the lockcarrier on the frame, once youve removed these, you can swing the drivers side to the passenger side like in soundguyob's picture...

Thats the basics, there might be something that i forgotted, but you should easily figure out what needs to be removed / opened, and what doesent...
