may be i need o make it a 16v for it to sell. well if this car gets to march and i still own it, I guess the cabby gets the new struts that are on it then the price will drop a couple hun.

If you bought a jetta 8v for 500 and paid for a mechanic to do even half the parts he has put into it, you would be at 2500.
So why not buy a car that is reliable and you wont need to change all these parts.
If someone who doesn't know mechanics buys an old A2 without a lot of new parts for cheaper, then they will just spend a lot replacing the parts that this car already has.
