This was my first car purchase in 1992 after selling 2 VW bugs. This golf 3 model was the first series of the new body style of the MK3. If I’m correct the 1993 year is the only one that came with 4 wheel disc brakes. 1994 and up of the mk3 had drums for rear brakes.
This car has been though everything. But keeps on running like a champ. It was involved in a rear end accident several years back and was repaired. It got side swiped twice which I didn’t get fixed shown on the pictures. The car needs a lot of work but it runs. It can be a great part out car and make extra $$ doing so. Other issues are:
· A/C doesn’t work
· Heater block removed, so no heater
· Driver side needs body work
· Sunroof leaks and needs to be fixed
· Kenwood radio face was stolen, but head unit is still in the car
· Transmission needs service/repair. Sometimes it won’t shift to 5Th gear
The car is for sale AS IS! This car is great for somebody who loves VWs and or a mechanic that will part out the car. 1500 OBO
