Hi all, just a feeler for my 2007 GTI. I've built a car that's perfect for the back roads but I haven't been to the backroads in several months and have absolutely no time to.
My preferences and priorities have just changed.
It currently has 87k miles and I am the second owner.
From the factory-
United grey, 4 doors, sunroof, cloth seats
Mods--
United Motorsports stage 1 tune (calibrated for the Neuspeed cold air intake)
SouthBend Stage 2 daily clutch
Neuspeed cold air intake
Neuspeed discharge pipe (IC to throttle body, removes the sound tube)
Dieselgeek short shifter
Fluidampr
Torque Solution engine mounts and orange HPA puck
Eurosport Accessories catback
2012 GTI stock suspension (slightly lower than the 2007 ones)
Passat knuckles aluminum control arms with poly bushings front and back (no added caster or anti-lift)
New bearings, mounts, and bolts at installation
Meticulously maintained; oil change every 5,000 miles (previous owner did 10,000 miles/12 months)
Only 27k miles on the timing belt
Blackstone report looked good
Cabin air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, and cam follower all replaced within the last 24 months.
Minuses
- Someone backed into me while I was parked; front wheel arch is a little bent; I do have a set of front fenders that can be swapped in
I still enjoy this car and I don't intend to part with it unless it sells at the right price.
