Selling off my spare motor for my autoxer. 2L 16V, engine has 160K, didn't burn oil when i removed it from a Passat 3 years ago. Comes with manifolds, and most accesories, no alternator. SOLD

that should be a clear guide to install a 16V motor in your Jetta and run Digi2. Get the Digifast chip for sure.

16v Rubber Throttle Body Elbow NO -- I can find one
16v Brake Booster Vac Hose NO -- I can find one
16v Throttle Cable (see below) NO buy a new one, they're cheap
16v Distributor YES
16v Plug Wires YES
16v Upper Radiator Hose YES
16v Coolant Pipe YES
16v Sensor's (keep them all for now) YES
16v Oil Cooler and Filter Flange YES
16v Exhaust Manifold and Gasket's YES

another $60 to get the parts listed above, you will still need a few other parts to do a digi2 16V like fuel rail, injector cups, and while not absolutely necessary a chip would be a good idea too. digi2 runs out of fuel on the top end and a chip would fix that. Check out the link above for a full description on the swap.
