This is a used apple ipod. i've had it for several years, and need to upgrade to more storage. Its a 15GB model. This is one of the models with the battery issues, and does have the original battery. I've never had a problem with battery life, but keep in mind they do have issues. As stated, this is a used device. There are normal wear scratches on the body and metal back. There are no deep scratches.
