FS CHEAP '83 Vanagon GL watercooled-Pac NW $1000?

My Vanagon must go. '86 (I think) 2.1 liter, newer michelin tires, weekender package. 208k miles on car, but still drives and steers pretty tight. Engine burns some oil, but does NOT smoke or leak. Trans 2nd gear synchros complain a bit, but they haven't gotten any worse in the last 80000 miles. Blue on blue. $1000? Act now or it goes on EBay.
