Replaced these about 2 years ago with 10000K HID bulbs, kept these for a while just in case I decided to switch back but I don't think I will be. These are the OEM bulbs (not aftermarket), made by Philips and retail new at the dealership for 160 a pair, and on Amazon they are 50.92 each - I am asking 50 for both plus shipping. The casing over the bulbs in the picture is just to protect the bulbs during storage and shipping.

These are OEM Philips D2S bulbs, not an aftermarket kit or bulb. Show me the link you are referring to, I cant find them - the only thing that I can find are HID kits - again, these are OEM

are you referring to these? http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/HID-Bulb-Replacements-Pair If so, those are replacements for HID kits. Again, as stated above, these are NOT from a kit, these are Philips OEM straight from VW that come stock in GTI and GLI models
