Fuel Pressure

Does anyone know the fuel pressure of the VR6? My Jetta is losing power intermittently and it appears to be a problem with the fuel pump (pumps?). Does anyone know if it carries more than one pump? My car is an '89 Jetta with an engine/gearbox, etc. from a 92 Corrado.

There is only one pump - an intank.
Your fuel pressure should be ~51 psi at idle with the vacuum attached and ~59 psi without...

if u still have a2 fuel pump check the transfer pump or the fuel pump under the car .u might also have bad wireing?
