What kind of gas and what octane do you guys use in your chipped 1.8T's?
(everyday use...running @ 1bar)

I always fill my car with 93 octane. As far as which brand, I don't usually care - I just go for one of the major ones. I've never seen any kind of real tests/studies to show that one brand is better than another, though if there are some (and I'm not talking "personal experience" here), then I might change my mind.

Only Texaco 93 premium.
They don't have over 93 here, except in race shops.

When chipped you MUST use premium every tank full, no excuses. I put nothing but 93 in mine, if I can find it I use 94.

Gas is cheap here in the states. I use Sunoco 94. -pd

Ditto that. Although while in the Fox Cities area of WI, I used Mobil 93. It seemed to work very well. My "baby" really liked that juice

Speaking of the Fox Cities...all you WI Vdubbers out there. The wife and I took a drive over to Madison via Hwy 41 to Hwy 26 to Hwy 151. In any event, on Hwy 26 I saw, kid you not, a Minivan unmarked police officer between Rosendale and Waupun

The guy had just pulled over a tractor trailer. Luckily my Passport picked up the strooonnnngggggg K band. I couldn't believe my eyes!!!!!!!!!! What is the deal with that?!?!?!?!?!?!
