Hey, im missing the wires to my full throttle switch, thisis an 8v engine...cis-e. Anyone know where they go to? any pictures or anything would be great, mine is just hanging down, and i think it would work better if it was connected...

Re: full throttle switch? (junglistdubber)

Are the wires missing or are they hanging down? Which one is it? The throttle switch harness plug pops in a clip behind the int. manifold. The FULL throttle switch richens the mixture at full throttle. Your car is SLOW without it.

Re: full throttle switch? (PAGTI91)

Well, i just talked to the guy, and he by-passed the switch, meaning it is constantly getting more fuel...i might change that...or not... but that also solves my fuel pump question, as to why it is louder because it also sends a signal to the pump to pump faster no? you think i should leave it like so or no? its pretty quick as it is.

Is that a recent mod the guy did? Running the full throttle sensor all the time like that will bypass the O2 and richen the mix, which will also kill the cat a lot faster. If I were going to do anything, I'd rig it to a switch in the dash, so I could choose when to do that. But given that you're in a dyno testing smog check area, I wouldn't want to fv(k with the emission controls.
Oh, and mine is wired right and the fuel pump still buzzes. I think the pumps just like to buzz.
