Fun with a 240sx.

On the way to my college there is about a 2-mile long area of nothing but nice curves and switchbacks and some of them are incline/declined. I spotted a newish 240sx as I crossed the road he was going fairly fast 45-50ish which I could tell he was driving “enthused” if you will. I started gaining upon him from about 3 lengths back almost full accel, I could tell he was accelling to match my enroute speed. Finally even up to him at around 55-60mph in 4th side by side flying through these turns, Mozart is blaring switched leads a few times, he was a fairly competent driver cause those switchbacks you have to hit right, I bet he thought that’s all I had. I had about enough of this poop, I’m going to downshift to 3rd and I’ll fly right by, drop to 3rd at 65mph or so revs jump, wait for the right moment want to play safe here, jump on it pull away from him briskly he’s still hanging at 70mph about 1 ½ back, wow that was fun. Wanted to give driver a thumb up but he exited. Yeah fun and games for Slim!

I love my MK2 but I'd trade it in a second for my old 240sx.

95-97 240sx 5-speed even with the KA24DE 2.4L 155hp ,will take on a GTI 16v

I suppose you're going to expect us to believe your 12+ yr. old car kept up w/ the almighty 240sx. No way!

My car's so slow. Knowing that my car needs a lot of repairs and such depresses me. But you know, despite all that guff, there's still one thing that never fails to cheer me up. Talk shows. The jenny jones show and the jerry springer show. Seeing all these people who are so screwed up going on the air and talking about their problems makes me feel better about myself. It makes me say "gee, I'm glad I'm not them"
