Well guys yeasterday I went out to the beloved Qualcomm stadium parking lot to run at the race leagal 1/8th miles drags...Still no traction spinning all the way..Just went out for some tree time until I get some street slicks and my Tec II installed and dialed in..Well things are going as usual Low 10's good RT's...When eliminations start that night I realize I forgot to change my number from lat time from heads up import to bracket so Im stuck running heads up..No biggies Im tired anyway and dont mind leaving early...heres how it went...
1. Vs. built 300zx TT..he was running 17psi and race gas...we pull up and stage..I am thinking aout driving home...Tree lights up..I nail it..whaaaam I got him...he lost by .021..Im like WTF..So I get the slip..I nailed a .503 tree to his 1.08 and just couldnt catch up...Looks like im hanging around
2. Vs Toyota Turbo Truck this rig is bad ass runs 18psi and have seen him hit high 12's in the 1/4...Im toast..we stage whoops!!!! He redlights...Im going on to round three..
3. I get a buy!!!Solo pass hehe I am thinking I might luck my way into a win...
4 Line up next to a nasty little beetle...I figure I need a perfect tree to have any chance...I red light .482 almost huh....I am still happy to make it to the final six..three being dubs me and two beetles

Luck of the irish huh...Just wait til i get the slicks and Tec II and up the boost then we'll see whats up in heads up import...

yea funny things do happen, i ran a 9.99, next trip up, i snap my drive axle...did this sunday, had to drive back home 1.5 hr drive, get a trailer, drive back, get car and return home that sucks...but i broke 10 sec. too

ps both drive axels are only 3 months old...

Damn! you have a great reaction time.....thats something I have to work on, but all in vain, as I have to rev my Corrado upto at least 3700RPM just to get a good launch with my "tall-ass gearing" that I now have........I should have just replaced it with the stock tranny!

We figure to be in the 8's by next time..G60Racer (Brendan)'s wife has a pic of me crossing the 1/8th mile finish line still spinning my wheels...

thats nasty. last year at import drags i tried slicks. it was too damp to be racing IMHO and the slicks wouldnt hook up. all i can say is screeeeeeeeeech the entire way. high pitched. feels awkward, hard to control. i cant wait to see more g60s in 14 nevermind the 13s!!!!!
