Can this be done? Just swap the whole thing out and put new rings in. Will I end up with a decent comp ratio for 15psi of boost? Will I need to swap intermediate shaft? Or can I just use the rods and pistons from the G60?

can you be more specific as to which head your gonna be using ?, it'll go in fine , its just you can still use an 8v head and get the 8:1 c/r , or w/ the 16v like already said itll be like 6.5:1

It will be a 1.8L 16v head. should i change just the rods or the crank to keep a higher comp ratio?

The 16v head has much bigger combustion chamber than the 8v
something like 46cc(16v) vs 28cc(8v) I think
